Pono

PONO is a turn-based tile strategy game that revolves around utilizing elemental type advantages to earn points before the game board becomes full. 

Objective: The objective of PONO is to strategically place elemental tiles on the game board to create elemental combinations and earn points. The goal is to achieve the highest score possible before the board fills up completely.

Gameplay:

1. Elemental Tiles: The game features different elemental tiles, each representing a specific element or type. These elements can include fire, water, Nature, air, electricity, shadow and earth. Each tile has a unique advantage over specific elements, forming a rock-paper-scissors-like mechanic. For example, fire may be strong against Nature but weak against water.
2. Type Sheet: The in-game type sheet displays the elemental advantages and disadvantages. It helps players understand which elements have the upper hand against others, allowing them to plan their moves strategically.
3. Placing Tiles: Players take turns placing tiles on the board, aiming to create matches and score points. When a tile is placed adjacent to one or more tiles of the opposing element, it triggers a combination. The strength of the combination and the resulting points earned depend on the type advantage of the placed tile.
4. Scoring: Points are awarded based on the strength of the combination created. Higher-scoring combinations result from placing tiles with advantageous elements against the opponent's tiles. The game encourages players to think strategically and consider the best placement to maximize their points.

Game Modes:

1. PvP Mode: Players can compete against their friends  in player-versus-player mode. This mode allows for exciting head-to-head matches, where strategic thinking and knowledge of type advantages play a crucial role in outscoring opponents.
2. AI Mode: For solo play or practice, PONO offers an AI mode. Players can face off against computer-controlled opponents of varying difficulty levels. This allows them to improve their skills and develop winning strategies.
